Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa on Thursday attended the launch of a book titled Number One Mission as a special guest at The Metropolitan Club.
The book, authored by Yemi Edun who is based in the United Kingdom, aims at “exploring the legacy of Nigerian High Commission in the United Kingdom and the importance of diplomacy to any citizenry of any nation”.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa congratulated the author for the laudable initiative of giving back to the country without any profit-motive; representing and projecting the country’s image positively. She enjoined other Nigerians in the diaspora to emulate him.

She, however, implored the author and other groups to organise seminars on host countries’ culture for Nigerians in diaspora to avoid running foul of the law.
Also present at the book launch was the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Ishola; and former group managing director of First Bank Ltd, Bisi Onasanya.
