Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa has said she will reconnect with the commercial motorcyclist locally called Okada man who gave her a free ride to Lekki Central Mosque in April for Eid prayer.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa sought for a ride when she realised she would be late for prayers as the road leading to the mosque was blocked.
The NIDCOM boss said the Okada rider gave her a free ride to the mosque in celebration of Eid Mubarak.
Revisiting the memory, Dabiri-Erewa shared the video on X on Sunday, saying she would be reconnecting with him, although she did not state the purpose.
“Flashback to the last Sallah in April, when this kind man gave me a ride on his Okada as I was running late for my Eid prayers. Glad I am close to reconnecting with him again. Happy Sunday,” she wrote.
