Philantropist, Abisoye Fagade, has launched a foundation to empower the youth through mentorship and opportunities for the advancement of their careers.
Mr Fagade said the rationale for establishing the foundation is to build upcoming generations and invest in the future of the nation.
Fagade, who is also founder and managing director of Sodium Group, said: “One of my visions has always been putting Nigeria on the global map and promoting Africa at large, and there is no better way to do that than setting up an organisation that caters and invests in the youth.
“We are devoted to entrepreneurship, innovation, capacity building, empowerment, championing entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs nationwide.”
He also said that his foundation would unlock obstacles that entrepreneurs face as they grow their start-ups into small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Fagade has gained knowledge in management and leadership programmes in Howard Business School, Stanford Seed Program among others.
