Stars of the 2003 hit film Abuja Connection, Clarion Chukwurah and Eucharia Anunobi have reunited.
The veteran actresses met at the Mother’s Day celebration hosted by Foursquare Gospel Church in Omole Ikeja, Lagos State.
Clarion posted photos from the event on Instagram on Tuesday while acknowledging those who attended the event.
In one of the photos, the actress and her co-star Eucharia are seen holding hands as they smiled together for the photoshoot.
Reacting in the comment section of the post, Eucharia wrote to Clarion saying, “Love you auntie.”
Excited fans took also took to the comment section of the post to express delight over their reunion.
Dozie Fineboi wrote: The 9th picture is giving me Abuja Connection, mama.”
Another user identified as Rock Paint Academy wrote: “Whenever I see these two women together what comes to mind first is Abuja Connection.
Directed by Michael Ezeanyaeche, Abuja Connection reflects on the struggle for power, money and having influential connections in Abuja.
The film also portrayed the actresses as business women fighting each other for supremacy and they dine in the corridors of power.
The movie also stars Ngozi Ezeonu, Oby Edozie, Emeka Ani, Chidi Mokeme, Alex Lopez and late Enebeli Elebuwa.
