AC Milan head coach, Gennaro Gattuso, has urged promising striker, Patrick Cutrone, to find a girlfriend and “make love” in order to maintain his upward career trajectory.
Cutrone, 20, has been the shining light with 13 goals in 16 starts in what’s been a dismal season for the Italian giants, despite investing heavily in attacking reinforcements during the off-season.
Strikers Nikola Kalinic and Andre Silva arrived at the Rossoneri for a combined fee of £52m (R848m), from Fiorentina and FC Porto respectively but have contributed just four Serie A goals.
“We are taking it easy on Cutrone,” Gatusso told AS, after the 3-0 UEFA Europa League win over Ludogorets, where Cutrone netted his fourth goal in as many games.
“He must not get distracted by the fact that he is the youngest player in Milan’s history to score that many goals.
“He has to work and to rest. I hope he finds a beautiful girlfriend, so he can rest and make love.”
