Former Arsenal defender, Johan Djourou, has made a shocking revelation on the reason behind his porn scene in a racy French movie.
Djourou, 29, claims: “It was a chance to break into films. I’ve now seen the entire film; it gave me a real laugh”.
The Swiss currently plays for Hamburg in the Bundesliga, but his career has taken a turn in a different direction – after appearing in the scene in the upcoming French film N.O.L.A Circus.
Djourou stars as himself in the film, in a rather surreal clip where he is seen asleep before dreaming about having relations with a woman in an Arsenal shirt while sporting an afro.
The woman acting in the sequence is his wife, Emilie.
“I shot the scene with my wife Emilie,” Djourou, who left the Gunners in 2013, told The Sun.
But the former Birmingham man who was born in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, isn’t alone in the act.
Djourou produced the movie alongside ex-Manchester United striker, Louis Saha, and Manchester City star, Bacary Sagna.
The film is produced by One Million Dollar Film, made up of French sports stars who donate to charities.
Djourou who is a regular for the Swiss national team, featured for the Gunners between 2004 and 2014 before joining Hamburg.
