Actor Francis Duru has shared the tragic news of his 15-year-old son Ifeanyi’s death.
Francis made the announcement on Instagram on Thursday, posting a picture of his son alongside a poignant message.
In his caption, the actor wrote, “My champion!! My lion… You fought like a lion… If this is the way he wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful.
“Ifeanyi, my champ. I will miss you, son. I will forever love you. Rest in peace, son, rest. I give you thanks, Lord!”
As of the time of this report, the cause of Ifeanyi’s death had not been disclosed.
Last December, the actor took to Instagram to mark Ifeanyi’s 15th birthday.
He wrote, “Guess who is 15 today! Like yesterday, today you are 15. Ify I thank you for you.
“For your deep spirituality and maturity. An amazing philosopher, thank you for your heart of gold and making parenting so easy. Your greatness is secured in the hands of God and may his angels be a constant in your life.
“Thank you for all you do son and my buddy. We all love you and you know. Happy birthday buddy.”
Francis married Adokiye in 2003. They have four children together.
