Actors Chukwuebuka Ajoku, Betty Okafor welcome first child

Actors Chukwuebuka Ajoku and Betty Okafor have welcomed their first child months after their traditional marriage.

Chukwuebuka shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, accompanied by maternity photos of his wife, Betty and him dressed in white attires.

He wrote, “On the 24th of December 2024, God showed us mercy. He showed my family that He is a miracle-working God. He gave us the most beautiful gift ever… our Christmas baby.

“Y’all don’t worry, our other posts will give you a hint of what we’re talking about. We are indeed grateful to God Almighty… It’s congratulations all the way!”

In another post featuring the couple in coordinated outfits, with Betty heavily pregnant, Chukwuebuka expressed his excitement saying, “Indeed, the wait was worth it. He would always come through.

“All we see is congratulations everywhere. We want to use this medium to say Merry Christmas from me and mine. This is a testament that God is good!”

The couple tied the knot traditionally in September during a ceremony held in Delta State.

The intimate event was attended by close family and friends.

Betty wore a white Igbo attire adorned with beads, while Chukwuebuka complemented her in a white traditional outfit, accessorized with coral beads, a native Isi Agu cap, and an Akupe hand fan.

Sharing moments from the wedding, Chukwuebuka captioned the post, “A beautiful movie indeed.”

Fans and celebrities have since flooded their social media pages with congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple’s new milestone.
