Actress Bukola Awoyemi aka Bukola Arugba on Tuesday announced her separation from colleague Damola Olatunji with whom she has two children.
The movie star published on Instagram a letter written by her lawyers and dated May 30.
The letter urged the public to take note that “Bukola Awoyemi and Damola Olatunji are no longer an item. They have gone their separate ways and this is without any hard feelings or ill will.”
It further said, “They have never been married to each other but are blessed with two lovely children (twins).”
The letter also said the duo agreed to put the well-being of their children first.
Early this year, Bukola fuelled rumours of trouble in her relationship with Damola when she left an uninspiring birthday message for him.
The actress, who was known for writing long notes in celebration of Damola’s birthday, simply wrote: “Happy birthday, twins dad, Do have a great one sir.”
The couple unfollowed each other on Instagram and also threw shades.
Damola was reportedly accused of being involved in sex for roles.
