Actress Debbie Shokoya has welcomed her first child after her miscarriage last year.
The news was first announced by fellow actress Wumi Toriola on her Instagram page on Saturday.
Wummi appreciated God for the safe delivery, congratulating and praying for her.
She captioned, “For He has made Everything beautiful in His time. I woke up with this great news.”
“Congratulations @debbie_shokoya. God is Faithful.
“May God keep the new born, give you strength and to all pregnant women, your Joy will be in Full..Glory to Jesus.”
Debbie also confirmed the news on her Instagram Story.

The new mother also shared a picture of her and her husband on Instagram. She captioned, “Oko mi” with love emojis.
In August 2023, Debbie revealed that she had a miscarriage at eight months.
Recounting the loss while promoting her movie ‘Irin Ayanmo’, she said her pregnancy journey “did not go as planned“.
