Actress Eve Esin has expressed her frustration with Air Peace after the airline canceled her flight to Asaba.
Eve took to Instagram on Wednesday to share screenshots of messages from Air Peace informing her of the flight cancellation.
Alongside the images, she wrote, “Air Peace!!!! I will drag this brand.”
In her post, Eve questioned the airline’s handling of the situation, stating, “How does your client book a business class ticket days in advance, only to be tossed back and forth?
“I came here for an appointment. I don’t live in Abuja. I was supposed to be in Asaba today to start a job tomorrow.
“If you cancel a flight for today, shouldn’t there be a consideration to fly the next day?”
“I call your airpeace customer care representative and she is asking me to reroute to Anambra or Benin.
“Who foots the bill? I didn’t know my route when I booked the flight?” she asked, adding that the Anambra flight was fully booked as well.
She continued, “As if it’s not enough, she says ‘go to the airport and take a 50-50 chance, someone may not show up.’ This brand is a JOKE!!!”
Eve also mentioned her attempt to find another flight through an airport agent, only to be offered a “black market” ticket.
“Black market for a flight ticket? Hmmm… Air Peace @flyairpeace I don’t like drama. I don’t intend to create one. You people better get me into Asaba tomorrow. I am so livid right now.”
Recall that In July, reality TV star Erica Nlewedim caused a scene at Lagos airport after British Airways allegedly downgraded her ticket without explanation.
