Actress and skit maker Favour Daniels has died in a boat accident.
She was aged 26.
Her older sister Elizabeth Daniels announced the death in an Instagram post over the weekend.
“It is with a heavy heart but in total submission to the will of our creator, I wish to announce the passing of my youngest sister Favour Agiounim Daniels, known and loved by so many.
“Nickname Omoge, Amama, Omo, small pin charger and the names goes on!!!!!
“My Amama, my baby girl I will miss you.
I call her my shining light, she was simply beautiful. She had a boat accident on 5th of February 2023
“She has now taken her rightful place in the throne room with her Creator.
“I know that for sure.
The giver of life I can’t question your decision.
“Sleep on daughter of zone, until we meet again,” Elizabeth wrote.
Reacting to Elizabeth’s post, actress Ini Edo asked “Wait what????????”
Actress, comedian and broadcaster Wofai Fada wrote “I don’t understand,” before adding “My heart is aching.”
Precious Chikwendu, actress, former beauty queen and ex-lover of former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode exclaimed “Jesus! What? Someone I saw weeks back? What is all of this bad news? This one hurts please.”
Actor Joseph Benjamin commiserated with the deceased’s family, writing “My deepest condolences.
“Take consolation in the fact that she is in a better place.”
Favour’s last Instagram post was on January 31 to celebrate the 4th birthday of her nephew.
She captioned the post “Happy birthday to my most adorable, handsome, special, lovable and sweet nephew.
“Your big 4 is a blessing to us all. Thank you Jeremiah for always making us laugh endlessly.
“I pray on this special day that the good Lord will always direct your path. That the Grace of God always be with you and you shall find it with easy in life.
“The light and peace of the living God will forever fill your pure heart
“I love you so much my lookalike
“Happy birthday Miah.”
