Actress Mimi Orjiekwe has buried her father Thomas Chukwuwike Orjiekwe.
The burial ceremony took place at her hometown in Enugu State on April 7.
Taking to her Instagram page, Mimi shared clips from her the funeral ceremony which was celebrated in grand style.
Besides riding a chariot at the event, Mimi Orjiekwe also enlisted the services of horse riders and men dressed in animal costumes at the burial ceremony.
She also penned an appreciation message to those who supported her.
Mimi wrote: “Yesterday we laid our father Ochendo to rest.. Keep resting Dad. Dr TcOrjiekwe.. Till we meet to part no more love you.. Thank you @henfrancessevent for making my daddy’s day Big.. (But we didn’t see the RR Ambulance) Thank you @ducaksevent. You made it a celebration of life for us.. Note: All displays were traditionally influenced.”

Thomas Chukwuwike Orjiekwe died on November 4, 2023 after a brief illness.
Born on July 14, 1987, Mimi was once married to fellow actor Charles Billion with whom she has a daughter.
