Fast rising Yoruba actress, Motunrayo Balogun, lost her grandmother, Alhaja Wulemotu Shoaga, on Tuesday.
The deceased was aged 95.
Motunrayo, who is gearing up for the release of her latest movie, Asan Laye, told Qed.ng that her grandmother died as a result of old age.
According to the actress, “she was a great woman loved by many. She will be sorely missed.”
Motunrayo stars alongside A-list actors like Muyiwa Ademola, Ronke Ojo, Mercy Ebosele and Adekola Tijani in Asan Laye.
