Actress and media personality, Sharon Okpamen, has tragically passed away following the birth of her child.
The news was confirmed on Saturday by movie producer Stanley Ontop on his official Instagram page.
Stanley’s post reads, “Nollywood Actor and Producer Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed on. It’s a sad day for Nollywood & the Edo entertainment industry.
“Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry.
“May her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen @sharonokpamen It can only get better. Shalom!!!”
Reports indicate that Sharon, an Edo-born actress, succumbed after spending several days in a coma following her delivery.
