The family of actress Ada Ameh has fixed her burial for August 25 and 26 2022.
Ada’s younger sister Abahi Ameh announced this in a video she posted on Instagram on Friday, July 29.
She noted that her family is working closely with the national president Actors Guild of Nigeria Emeka Rollas, the Native Media and the Ajegunle forum, adding that any other information regarding the burial plans will come from these groups and her family.
She said in parts: “Goodmorning everyone, my name is Abahi, I am Ada Ameh’s younger sister. I want to thank you all for standing by us. We are a large functional family. We have not been wiped off and we can never be wiped off. My husband and I decided to take this initiative to announce to her fans by collaborating with her Instagram page to give announcements and a few persons misinterpreted our intention.
“There is a lot we have seen in the past week that we are not comfortable with. Plans for her burial are ongoing. And we will like the public to ensure they are dealing with the right people. We have fixed as a family, a burial date for 25th and 26th of August, 2022”.
Ada Ameh died two years after the death of her daughter Aladi.
Before her death, Ada battled with mental health. She revealed she had been dealing with mental illness following the death of her loved ones.
She spoke about her ordeal in an interview with media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown on Your View TV show published on Friday, July 1.
According to The Johnsons actress, she had been depressed for years and her daughter Ladi’s death made it worse because Ladi was her best friend, and sister and it felt like her world had crumbled.
The 48-year-old also disclosed that she had lost six siblings before Aladi died.
Ada Ameh hailed from Benue State.
