Gospel singer Ada Ehi has paid tribute to her late friend, Teniola Oluwo, ten months after her death.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Ada shared a video of herself singing, accompanied by a heartfelt caption.

She recalled a moment during a meeting when she unintentionally referred to Teni in the past tense, prompting a wave of emotions.

“I lost my line of thoughts for a while. I fell silent, for a while,” she wrote.

Ada reminisced about how Teni would bring life to any space, turning dressing rooms into performance stages and joyfully singing songs that resonated with her.

“Always the joy giver and chief supporter of those she loved, for which I am grateful to be one of them,” she added.

Ada revealed that she is working on things they had spoken about before her death.

She also shared a powerful revelation she received from the Holy Spirit about mourning, emphasising that in God’s kingdom, “We don’t die. He is the God of the living—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Teniola Oluwo.”

Ending her tribute on personal note, she declared, “I love you forever.”

Teni Oluwo was a fashion stylist, journalist and TV producer, known by her brand name, Style Territory.
