Popular Kannywood actor and singer, Adam Zango, has apologised to fellow actor, Ali Nuhu, over a long-running feud.
Squabbles between the two have divided the Hausa language film industry with headquarters in Kano into two factions.
Adam, however, posted a picture of him kneeling besides a sitting Ali on Instagram on Wednesday with a Hausa message that loosely translates to “King, I am down on bent knees.”
Ali and Adam fell apart in 2015 over a scandal involving actress, Rahama Sadau.
Rahama had accused Adam of demanding sexual favours to feature her in his movie, Duniya Makaranta.
“Declining Zango’s love advances will not take me down,” she wrote on Instagram.
She later posted an apology, calling her behaviour childish.
The Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) responded by suspending Rahama who later got into bigger problem by appearing in a rapper, ClassiQ’s video.
Industry insiders say Adam believed Ali instigated the actress against him.
A truce reached in 2015 collapsed two years later with the two seeing each other as threats.
A reconciliation is believed to have now taken place at the instance of chairman of the Kano State Censorship Board, Ismaila Afakallahu Na’abba.
