General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Friday paid a visit to Imo State.
He told Governor Hope Uzodimma that by his visit light has returned to the south-east. Killings have been recorded in the region in recent times, including the murder of a pregnant woman and her four children.
‘’The problem of Nigeria today is beyond human comprehension, a situation where non-state actors dictate to government when people should come out and not to come out,” Adeboye said during a courtesy call on the governor.
He added: “With the visit, south-east from henceforth, there must be light.
Uzodimma described the visit as a “prophetic mission for divine intervention”.
He added, “It’s a pleasure welcoming the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye and his religious team as they visit Imo State on a prophetic mission for divine intervention in the challenges confronting us.
“In the course of our fight against insecurity and related menace, we have never failed in seeking divine intervention.”
