General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, has thanked the First Lady of Uganda, Janet Museveni, for her warm reception.
Adeboye was received in Uganda by the first lady in the company of his wife, Foluke Adeboye.
The 77-year-old preacher thanked Mrs Museveni in a tweet on Tuesday.
Adeboye posted a picture of himself dressed in matching red outfits with his wife while the first lady sat beside them.
He, however, did not state the purpose of their trip to the east African country.
“Thank you @janetmuseveni (First Lady of Uganda) for the warm reception. Uganda will rise and shine bright in the name of Jesus,” Adeboye wrote.
Janet has been the First Lady of Uganda since 1986 when her husband, Yoweri Museveni, became president.
