Adeboye visits Enenche’s church in Abuja

Pastor Enoch Adeboye

General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Sunday, November 14 paid a visit to the Glory Dome, headquarters of Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja.

Adeboye, who visited the church in the company of his wife Pastor Foluke Adeboye, said he honoured the invitation of the church’s senior pastor Paul Enenche to be a part of the 25th anniversary of the Kingdom Power and Glory World Conference.

“I honored the invitation of my son @drpastorpaulenenche to The Dunamis Family today as they celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Kingdom Power & Glory World Conference at the Glory Dome Abuja in company of my wife @pastorfoluadeboye,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

Adeboye further said it was a “great time in the presence of God” and also congratulated the church on the milestone.

The 79-year-old RCCG leader, who is considered a spiritual father to many preachers in the country, called Enenche, his wife Becky and their children before the congregation and prayed for them.

Among guests at the service was Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom.

Before his sermon, Adeboye told Ortom that he was proud of him and that the church would continue praying for him.

“Don’t worry, the sermon of a mathematician will not be long. So my service will not be long but I mustn’t forget to say to my governor (Ortom), my son, that we are proud of you.

“We are very proud of you and I want you to know that we are constantly praying for you. It doesn’t matter what the enemy may try, you will keep on succeeding. So shall it be in Jesus’ name,” he said.

Ortom escaped assassination in March when armed men trailed him to his farm at Tyo-Mu community in the outskirts of Makurdi town, along Makurdi-Gboko road. The governor has been vocal in his criticism of herders and the Federal Government’s approach to it.
