General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye has paid a condolence visit to Pastor Shyngle Wigwe and wife Stella, parents of the late group chief executive officer of Access Holdings Plc Herbert Wigwe.
Adeboye shared photos of his visit on social media on Friday.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote; and Wigwe’s business partner Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede were also at Wigwe’s parents’ home at the time of Adeboye’s visit.
Wigwe’s father pastors a branch of the RCCG called City of David.
“In heartfelt solidarity a visit filled with warmth offering condolences to Pastor and Mrs. Shyngle Wigwe on the loss of their beloved son, his wife and grandson who passed away over the weekend,” Adeboye, whose son Dare died in 2021, wrote in his social media post.

Wigwe, his wife Doreen, his son Chizi, and a former group chairman of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Abimola Ogunbanjo, tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash in California, United States on February 9.
