Highlife singer and graphic designer, Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has announced the release date of his second album titled About 30.
The 31-year-old announced via Instagram on Thursday that the album will be released on the 25th of May.
“Let it be known without a doubt, that the 25th of May, the day of #About30, will be one of the most exceptional days you’ve experienced in a long time,” he wrote.
He then went ahead to tell fans to brace up for the release, saying it will be like nothing they have heard.
“There’s a part of me that feels like you haven’t braced yourself enough for the experience of this album. I’ve been listening to these songs for months and I’m still blown away,” he wrote.
Adekunle had earlier shared the album track list on Instagram, with his hit single, ‘Ire’, chief among the tracks.
Adekunle Gold held a listening party for the forthcoming album at Terra Kulture in Lagos on May 4.
