Alternative pop singer, Adekunle Gold, on Friday celebrated his sister, Adekunbi Kosoko, as she adds another year to her age.
In a post to Instagram, the 31-year-old shared a throwback picture of himself and his sister in which they stood together in front of a birthday cake.
The ‘Sade’ singer sent a heartfelt message to her, reminiscing on how they were when they were little.
“We’ve shared so many magical moments of our lives. I remember how you’d be struggling to beat me when we were a lot younger. I’ll never understand how you do the things you do.
“Only you could cook a pot of soup with the smallest amount of money, never get tired of doing chores even when you’re sick. The ways you touch my heart can only be done by a beautiful sister. I love you,” he wrote.
The ‘Orente’ singer recently shared a video in which Adekunbi is seen in tears as gushing over her brother’s poster for his About 30 concert in London.
Adekunle Gold, born Adekunle Kosoko, is the first and only son of four children. He has three sisters, Adekunbi, Fadeke and Busayo.
Adekunbi is a member of her brother’s band, The 79th Element. She is the only female member of the band.
