The Minister of Power, Mr Adebayo Adelabu, has expressed shock over the passing of Mr Kehinde Subair, a former Majority Leader of Oyo State House of Assembly.
Adelabu, in a statement in Abuja on Friday, said he was devastated by the news of Subair’s death.
The minister described Subair’s death as a significant loss to the state, Oyo All APC and the nation at large.
Adelabu hailed the late lawmaker’s dedication, leadership and invaluable contributions to the development of Oyo State during his tenure in the House of Assembly.
He said that Subair’s legacy of service and commitment to the welfare of his constituents would remain an inspiration to many.
“My heart is heavy with grief over the loss of a great political leader and public servant.
“His unwavering dedication to the progress of Oyo State, the APC and his exemplary leadership will never be forgotten.
“I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends and the people of Oyo State, especially the APC family, during this difficult time,” he said.
The minister also prayed for the peaceful repose of Subair’s soul and urged his loved ones to find solace in his enduring legacy of service and impact,” he said.
