Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on Saturday shared a video on Instagram of himself beating a drum known as “Bandiri”.
His caption for the video was the love symbol and Nigerian flag.
Adeleke is seen in the video drumming while his supporters sitting around him sing along to the drums.
The governor was nicknamed ‘dancing senator’ during his days at the Senate over his love for dancing.
Adeleke is still in a celebratory mood after the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Friday upheld his victory at the July 2022 poll.
The appellate court overturned the Osun State Election Petition Tribunal’s decision to award victory to ex-governor Gboyega Oyetola over alleged over-voting.
In a unanimous decision by a three-member panel of Justices, the court held that the appeal Adeleke lodged to challenge his sack by the Osun tribunal, was meritorious.
Aside from setting aside the judgement of the tribunal, the court, in its lead judgement that was delivered by Justice Mohammed Lawal, awarded N500, 000 cost against the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Oyetola.
