Chief Executive Officer of IBST Limited, Aderemi Ogunpitan, has paid tribute to his late mother on what would have been her 92nd birthday.
Ogunpitan took to Instagram on Thursday to share a photo of his mother, accompanied by an emotional message reflecting on her impact on his life.
“I didn’t forget that yesterday would have been your 92nd birthday, Mum. No, I never forget. I woke up and sang your favorite hymn, It Is Well with My Soul, and remembered all the conversations we had,” he wrote.
He described her unwavering love and belief in him throughout the years, adding, “Through thick and thin, until you passed, you were unrelenting in your patience, love, and belief. Never doubting for a moment that through everything and all situations, it would always be well.”
Concluding his tribute, he prayed for his family, community, and the nation, saying, “It is well with us, our family, communities, and Nigeria. Rest in peace, Mami.”
Ogunpitan is a respected figure in Nigerian television and film production.
He has worked as an Executive Producer at Swift Studios and collaborated with renowned filmmakers like Lloyd Weaver.
His contributions include the popular TV series I Need to Know.
