Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi, has called for action on the recent killings in Southern Kaduna.
The 32-year-old encouraged her Twitter followers to help raise awareness about the killings on Thursday.
“Good afternoon, There are people dying in southern Kaduna. They are Nigerians like you and I. Please lend your voices. Even if it’s just a retweet. A modern-day genocide is happening and nobody is talking,” she wrote.
There have been reports of attacks on some communities in Southern Kaduna since May 19.
It was gathered Idazau, Etissi, Bakin Kogi, Dutsen Gora, UN Gora, Pushu Kallah and Magunguna villages were attacked with five persons killed, 78 injured and 231 cattle stolen.
Some 51 persons have also been reported missing following the attacks.
