Nollywood darling, Adesua Etomi, on Monday did a good job of putting a fan who disrespected Genevieve Nnaji on social media in his place.
No sooner had beautiful actress Genevieve Nnaji shared a stunning makeup free selfie on her Instagram page than a fan with the handle @clevershevy wrote “Old age is coming.”
The comment obviously offended Adesua who was quick with the sharp reply; “If you have nothing intelligent to say, it’s best to say quiet…”
The fan was however not ready to give up and demanded that the 2016 AMVCA Best Actress should respect him, but Adesua Etomi was not done
She replied, asking the fan to “Respect Genevieve too. If you have nothing pleasant and uplifting to say to another human being, it’s better to say nothing at all.
The exchange went back and forth, but Adesua held her ground.
Realising the error of his way and the number of people against him, @clevershevy later wrote: “Guess I’m ignorant of some things. Guess they’d be explained to me better just d way @bridgetogede explained. I’ve just realised that. I’m sorry tho.”
With the likes of Adesua and close to two million other Instagram followers on her side, Genevieve did not deem it important to respond to the insult.
