Actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington has penned a heartfelt tribute to her husband, singer, actor ND politician Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, on his birthday.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Adesua shared a video of herself and Banky W participating in an intimacy exercise, where they stared into each other’s eyes before sealing the moment with a kiss.
Explaining the reason behind the exercise, she wrote:
“I’m filming a project very near and dear to my heart soon, so I told Banky to do this intimacy exercise with me because I want to see how I look when I’m into someone.
“All we have to do is look at each other without speaking and pay attention to the details of our faces. In reality, I wanted to use the video for his birthday post but now that I’ve seen it, I’m definitely using it as a reference for this project 
“@bankywellington I’m so glad you were born. I’m so grateful that you’re still here. I’m so blessed to share this beautiful life with you.
“You are the most incredible human being, husband, partner and father. I prayed for someone like you, and God went ahead and did the most by giving me even more than I asked for. My protector, biggest fan and biggest cheerleader, you deserve the world. In every lifetime, it’d still be you.
“May the good Lord continue to keep you, bless you, shield you, promote you, and may He continue to prepare a table before you in Jesus’ name.

Banky W also marked his birthday with a reflective post, sharing several photos of himself, his wife and their son.
“Sometimes, you have to ‘get off the dance floor and onto the balcony.’ That’s what the past year has been for me.
“It was my opportunity to step back and reflect on my journey, take stock of how far I’ve come, figure out where I want to go, and who I’d like to be when I get there—wherever ‘there’ is.
“Because I’ve learned that it’s really not about a destination or the journey, but who you become along the way.
“And honestly? I like who I’m becoming.
“I don’t have it all figured out, and that’s okay. I’ll just love deeply, live boldly, and work hard. And keep putting one foot in front of the other, walking by faith.
“And when I eventually get to the top of any mountain, I will plant His flag, not my own.
“Because it’s always been by His grace, through my faith.
“Happy birthday, kiddo. You’re alright.”

Adesua and Banky W got married in a highly publicized wedding in November 2017.
