Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Ado Bayero, on Monday, paid a visit to the Emir of Kano and chairman of Kano State Council of Emirs, Aminu Ado Bayero, at his palace in Kano.
Kano State Government appointed Nasiru as the new Emir of Bichi following Aminu’s appointment as new Emir of Kano.
Nasiru is the younger brother of Aminu.
Aminu was named new Kano emir after Lamido Sanusi was removed by the state government on allegations of insubordination.
Secretary to the State Government, Usman Alhaji, said the removal was in line with the recommendation of the Kano State Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission.
