Actress Adunni Ade on Wednesday posted a photo of her and her ailing mother Emily Faye to celebrate her birthday
The 45-year-old posted the photo on Instagram to wish her mum a happy birthday.
Adunni also shared a throwback photo of her and her mother.
She wrote: “So yesterday was a great day! My mama is blessed to witness another year. Good is the greatest! Happy Birthday mom! We love you Big Red.”
Fellow celebrities like Mercy Aigbe, Stan Eze, Omowunmi Dada and Kehinde Bankole pointed out Adunni’s resemblance with her mum as they wished her a happy birthday.
Mercy Aigbe wrote: “You are her replica! So beautiful, happy birthday mummy, we love you.”
“Wow! Carbon Copy Happy Birthday Mama,” Stan Nze wrote.
“Happy birthday, mama. Adunni your face didn’t change one bit,” Kehinde Bankole wrote.
“Happy birthday, mom. Your face didn’t change and you look so much like younger mum,” Omowunmi Dada wrote.
Adunni’s mum is a German American while her father is a Nigerian businessman.
In a birthday message she sent to her mother in 2018, the Head Gone actress described her as “a very courageous, strong-minded woman” who is “very loving, and caring but definitely a no-nonsense woman.”
Raised in Lagos and the United States, Adunni earned a degree in accounting at the University of Kentucky in 2008.
She has two sons – D’Marion and Ayden – of her own from a broken marriage.
