Cameroon were rewarded for their impressive showing at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with as many as three players making the Team of the Tournament.
They include goalkeeper Fabrice Ondoa, Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui and Christian Bassogog.
Beaten finalists, Egypt, had two representative so did third-placed Burkina Faso and Ghana.
Cameroon’s forward Bassogog was the player of the tournament referred to as the Total Man of the Competition.
The youngster who only made his debut for his country in November was absolutely phenomenal on the flanks for the Indomitable Lions.
Egypt went away with the Fair Play prize, while DR Congo striker Junior Kabananga took home the top goal scorer award after finishing with three goals.
