Nigerians have been praising Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi over his dominant display in the 2023 AFCON quarter final match against Angola on Friday night.
Nigeria defeated Angola 1-0 thanks to Ademola Lookman whose third goal in the tournament was enough to see off the Antelopes.
Sanusi’s pass to Moses Simon and the latter’s brilliant pass to Lookman saw the Atalanta winger score the only goal in the game.
Although, several persons have been critical of Sanusi, many on social media say he has been rock solid in defence and offering quality going into the opponents’ half.
