Nigeria’s Super Eagles may return to Kaduna in continuation of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2019 qualifying games.
This is as a result of Gernot Rohr’s visit to the Ahmadu Bello Stadium for inspection on Wednesday.
Nigeria plays away to Seychelles in Victoria on Matchday 2 of the series on Friday, 7th September and must then entertain Libya in the second week of October.
Rohr checked out the facilities in company with NFF’s second Vice President, Shehu Dikko and Super Eagles’ Team Administrator, Dayo Enebi Achor.
After hosting Libya, Nigeria will then travel to the Knights three days later, before flying to South Africa for the return against the Bafana Bafana on 17th November.
The last match of the series will see the Eagles hosting Seychelles on 22nd March 2019.
In the opener to the series in June 2017, the Eagles lost 0-2 to the Bafana Bafana in Uyo.
The Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba had been rumoured to be on the cards to host the Libya game while the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt got a test run in the pre-World Cup friendly game against Congo.
The last time Nigeria played in Kaduna was a 2017 AFCON qualifier against Egypt that ended 1-1
