Filmmaker Afeez Owo and his wife Mide Martins have apologised to their colleague Wumi Toriola over an error made by an editor in their new film titled IJA.
A video from one of the scenes with features Wumi Toriola went viral on Tuesday as many pointed out the continuity error involving Wumi’s wig change.
In an Instagram live session on Tuesday, Wumi demanded an apology from the crew over the mistake, saying that she is a victim of bad editing.
The same Tuesday , Afeez and Mide put out a joint statement via Instagram, apologizing to the actress for the mistake.
“Our attention has been drawn to the inconsistency in the wig/props used in one of the scenes involving “Actress Wunmi Toriola” in our latest movie lJA. We will like to state categorically that the error was not from Wunmi Toriola at all. Rather it was an expensive mistake from the post production crew at the editing stage. (The Editor).
