Actor Afeez Owo has remembered his mother-in-law and actress, Funmi Martins, on the 20th anniversary of her death.
Like his wife, Mide Martins, Afeez uploaded a video of the deceased’s funeral on Instagram on Friday.
“20 years remembrance of late Funmi Martins Anike. Hmmm just like yesterday. Continue to rest in peace he wrote,” he wrote.
Mide Martins also prayed that her mum will continue to rest in peace. She added that her good deeds can never be forgotten.
“20 YEARS REMEMBRANCE!!! 20 YEARS LIKE YESTERDAY, IN THE LOVING MEMORY OF LATE FUNMI MARTINS. MAY YOUR BEAUTIFUL SOUL CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE”.
“IYA MI OWON ANIKE OLUWAFUNMILAYO FLORENCE. REST ON ANIKE TILL WE MEET TO PART NO MORE. YOUR GOOD DEEDS WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN,” she wrote on Instagram.
Funmi died on May 6, 2002.
Mide has been married to Afeez Owo, her mother former’s personal assistant, for 14 years, and they have two daughters together.
