Chinagorom Onuoha, the musician popularly known as African China, has begged for forgiveness for the policeman who allegedly pointed a gun at him.
The Mr President singer had on Tuesday posted a video showing a man in a t-shirt purportedly threatening to shoot him.
According to him, the incident happened in the Ajegunle area of Lagos after he just finished shooting a music video with fellow artiste, Sound Sultan.
He posted another video on Wednesday in which he expressed gratitude for the manner he said the police authorities handled the situation.
“To my fellow Nigerians, I want to say that this has shown that the life of the common Nigerian really matters to the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.
For the erring policemen, he pleaded, “I will also want to use this opportunity to plead on the behalf of the officer for him to be forgiven. To err is human and to forgive is divine.”
