Nigeria’s male national basketball team, D’Tigers, continued their impressive start to the 2015 AfroBasket Championship by recording a 98-59 victory over tournament debutant, Uganda in Rades, Tunisia on Friday evening.
D’Tigers, who are now unbeaten in two games, dominated play from start to finish, thereby leading their opponents in all four quarters of the game.
Star man, Chamberlain Oguchi, continued from where he left off against Central African Republic with another top notched performance against Uganda.
The player was the top performer of the game thereby single-handedly winning the game for the West Africans with his 30 points, a game high, above any other player in the game.
Oguchi also made one steal, two assists and rebounds, which earned him an efficiency of twenty-eight.
The Ugandans who have now failed to win so far will face Central African Republic while Nigeria will play tournament host Tunisia in the group final games on Sunday.
