D’Tigress took total control of the game, and it became more evident in the painted area where they out-rebounded Guinea 63-30.
Helen Ogunjimi came off the bench for the two-time champions to make 15 of her game-high 19 points from beyond the arc.
D’Tigress, 46th in the world, have thus played three games in the tournament winning two and losing one.
The team is gradually picking up after losing their first game 57 – 51 to powerhouse Angola on Friday -overcoming Egypt 97 – 68 the next day.
Nigeria play Senegal and Algeria on Monday and Tuesday respectively in their last two group games.
