American rapper, Lil Wayne, says Nigeria and Egypt are the two places he would love to visit.
The 37-year-old is seen in a video clip on social media on Wednesday expressing desire to visit Nigeria. It is unclear if the recording happened recently.
When asked by a female interviewer if there is any place he had never been that he would like to go, the singer said: “I have never been to Nigeria. That’s the place that I will love to go. I’ve never been to Egypt.”
His interviewer interrupted asking: “Why Nigeria and Egypt? I hear Nigeria is lit.”
Lil responded saying he heard same too and that he had a whole different idea of the country.
The video surfaces at a time his fellow rapper Cardi B is still counting her gains from visiting Nigeria in December.
Cardi B has been toying with the idea of relocating to Nigeria with her family. Early Monday, she requested her fans to convince husband, Offset, to agree to the proposed move.
The American’s perceived desire to move to Nigeria is born out of fear of war following the killing of Iranian military general, Qassem Soleimani, by US forces.
