Police officers have again sealed the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
This comes just two days after a similar incident occurred.
Two police patrol vehicles were on Thursday packed in front of the secretariat’s main entrance.
The APC has been enmeshed in crisis over who takes control of the leadership following the suspension of the substantive national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.
While a former national deputy secretary, Victor Giadom, has got the support of President Muhammadu Buhari as acting national chairman, the party’s National Working Committee favours former Oyo governor, Abiola Ajimobi, for the position.
The Ajimobi-led NWC had raised the alarm over an alleged plot by some unnamed persons to burn down the APC National Secretariat.
Mr Giadom, however, will on Thursday chair a virtual meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee which President Buhari is expected to attend.
