Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa is set to join West Brom on a short-term contract till the end of the season.
The former Leicester City forward is among options being considered by Sam Allardyce, with Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke and Mbaye Diagne of Galatasaray also named, according to Daily Mail.
West Brom are looking to bolster their squad with a goalscorer as the team struggles for form and is being threatened by relegation.
Musa, 28, has been a free agent since leaving Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr. Wolves, Fulham and his former club CSKA Moscow have also made enquiries about the winger.
The Nigeria international believes he has “unfinished business” in the Premier League after his unspectacular spell with Leicester City.
West Brom have requested a UK visa for Musa and he is expected to come in this Wednesday for medical tests.
