Nigeria musician, Alariwo of Africa, who is currently battling a penis/scrotum disease called Varicocele is set to appear on TV game show, Who Deserves To Be A Millionaire?
WDTBAM which is a spinoff from the MTN sponsored game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire aims at raising funds for unsung heroes/heroines in the country.
The platform will give the artiste the opportunity to raise funds for his surgery.
A source very close to the musician revealed to Naij.com representatives of Ultima Limited, the producer of the TV show, visited Alariwo in his residence recently to confirm his true health status before making final arrangements to feature him on the program.
The touted crossover king is said to be in need of about $130,000 to undergo surgery abroad.
In November, the 46-year-old revealed in an interview with Punch Newspaper that comedian, Julius Agwu, who recently survived a brain surgery in the United States, has donated the sum of $35,000 for him to seek treatment.
“Julius is the only entertainer that has volunteered to donate the sum of $35,000 to my cause. I was shocked when he called to say he would give me the money. Now what I should be looking for is the balance. I want to thank him for this wonderful gesture,” he said.
