First Lady Aisha Buhari and former presidential candidate, Oby Ezekwesili, have joined other Nigerians in sympathising with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar after his son tested positive for the coronavirus.
Moments after Atiku made the announcement early Monday on Twitter, Mrs Buhari, whose daughter is being quarantined after recently returning from the UK, sent her message in solidarity to him.
“Your Excellency, It’s with deep sense of concern that I extend my sincere prayers towards the quick recovery of your dear son. Allah renu en Amin,” she said.
Mrs Ezekwesili wrote later in the day: “O Wow. Sorry to hear this. May our God grant him and all others in intensive care, speedy recovery in Jesus name.”
