Wife of the Nigerian President, Aisha Buhari, has hosted her Ugandan counterpart, Janet Museveni, at the State House, Abuja.
The Nigerian first lady uploaded a picture of their meeting to Instagram on Friday.
“It was a pleasure hosting my dear sister, the first lady of Uganda Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni,” she wrote.
Mrs Museveni has been the first lady of Uganda since he husband, Yoweri Museveni, assumed power in 1986.
She has been cabinet minister of education and sports in the Ugandan cabinet, since June 6, 2016.
Mrs Buhari became Nigeria’s first lady following the inauguration of her husband, Muhammadu Buhari, as President on May 29, 2015.
