First lady Aisha Buhari met billionaire Folorunsho Alakija and Senator Daisy Danjuma during her visit to Lagos over the weekend.
Mrs Buhari was in Lagos for the wedding of Oluwabukunmi, daughter of Princess Adejoke Adefulire who is the senior special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on SDGs and former deputy governor of Lagos State.
The first lady, who rarely visits Lagos, shared photos of her meeting with Alakija and Danjuma on Instagram on Monday.
She said, “It was a pleasure to be in the vibrant city of Lagos and spend time with amazing amazons, women, mothers and mentors. The ageless and elegant Mrs Folorunsho Alakija and Sen. Daisy Danjuma (Lady DD)
“I sincerely appreciate their endless contributions to the development of my Foundation; Future Assured, over the years.”
Mrs Buhari also thanked the “Stylish Tony Elumelu and Gentle Giant Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede” for their contributions too to her foundation.
The first lady attended the Lagos event with her children.
