First lady Aisha Buhari has shown off her new henna design in support of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu.
A video of Mrs Buhari showing off the design has gone viral.
Mrs Buhari, in the video, flashes her palms to reveal Tinubu’s insignia.
The henna design is the broken shackles insignia of Tinubu.
Mrs Buhari on Thursday, November 17 led the APC women presidential campaign flag-off in Kwara State.
Also present at the flag-off which was held at the Metropolitan Square in Ilorin was the host, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara and his wife Olufolake Abdulrazaq.
Wives of APC governors, APC national women leader, Betta Edu; actresses and businesswomen, among others, also graced the flag-off.
The video of Mrs Buhari flashing her palms has stirred debates on social media.
Reacting to it, the spokesman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, hailed the first lady for leading from the front.
“Mother of the Nation, Aisha Buhari, leading from the front! The game is becoming clearer to our crumbling opponents!!” Keyamo, who is also the minister of state for labour and employment, tweeted.
The APC women’s presidential campaign flag-off comes 48 hours after the party flagged off its presidential campaign in Jos, Plateau State.
President Muhammadu Buhari, Tinubu as well as other party stalwarts were at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Jos, venue of the flag-off. Supporters of the party filled the 40,000 capacity stadium.
