Actress Aisha Lawal has launched a fabric store in Ibadan called Talking Fingers by Aisha.
The grand opening, held on Tuesday, attracted a host of celebrities, including Femi Adebayo, Wumi Toriola and Kiekie. The wife of the Ooni of Ife also graced the event in support of the actress.
Expressing her gratitude, Aisha described the achievement as the result of two decades of dedication. “This is a dream I have nurtured for 20 years, and I am grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way,” she said.
The actress, known for her roles in Yoruba films, shared moments from the launch on social media, receiving congratulatory messages from colleagues and fans.
She shared a video giving a tour of the store, highlighting different fabrics and clothing materials.

She also shared a clip of the grand opening event with the caption, “We are set and ready for @talkingfingersbyaisha shopping complex grand opening all clothing brand, in the city of Ibadan opposite WAT OIL adjacent ADELABU shopping complex Orita Challenge Ibadan. Come shop and chop today we are expecting you.”
Aisha joins the growing list of Nollywood stars expanding into business beyond the entertainment industry.
Other actresses who have ventured into entrepreneurship include Toyin Abraham, who owns a herbal medicine brand; Mercy Aigbe, who runs a fashion boutique and Iyabo Ojo, who operates a restaurant and beauty business.
