Managing director of Africa Independent Television (AIT), Tosin Dokpesi, on Friday clocked the golden age of 50.
Friends, family and colleagues at DAAR Communications, owners of AIT and RayPower radio network, have sent her birthday wishes across social media platforms.
A zoology graduate of the University of Lagos, Mrs Dokpesi began her journalism career at Multimedia Limited as a TV presenter.
The Edo State indigene also possesses a postgraduate degree in mass communication from the university.
She joined Clapperboard Television in 1994 as a presenter, moving to DAAR Communications two years later.
She was first engaged as a presenter and newscaster with RayPower FM where her performance caught the attention of management.
She was subsequently moved to AIT where her beauty and brilliance caught the attention of the company’s founder and chairman, Raymond Dokpesi, who made her his wife.
